1. What WonYet is (and is not)

WonYet is a ticket-checking and results-notification service. You photograph or enter lottery tickets you already bought elsewhere; we read them, check them against published drawing results, and tell you the outcome. Instant (scratch-off) tickets are evaluated automatically from your photo against the rules printed on the ticket itself. In every case the result is informational only and must be verified through official lottery channels before you rely on it (see section 3).

WonYet does not sell lottery tickets, accept wagers, take stakes, or facilitate gambling of any kind. We are an information service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Powerball, Mega Millions, the Multi-State Lottery Association, or any state lottery organization. All lottery names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the games being checked.

Affiliate links. In some U.S. states WonYet may show clearly-labeled links to a licensed third-party lottery courier (for example, Jackpocket) and may earn a commission if you order through them. The courier — not WonYet — sells the ticket and handles your payment; WonYet still never sells tickets, accepts wagers, or holds your funds. These links appear only where the courier is authorized and only to age-confirmed visitors.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal lottery age in your jurisdiction — 18 in most U.S. states, 19 in Nebraska, and 21 in Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, and Mississippi — to use WonYet. By creating an account you confirm that you are.

3. Results are informational — verify before claiming

We work hard to be accurate: results come from official feeds where available, and our matching engine is tested against published prize structures. But mistakes are possible anywhere in the chain — a misread digit, a feed error, a pari-mutuel prize amount that differs from the estimate. Therefore:

You must verify any win through official lottery channels before relying on it or attempting to claim a prize. WonYet’s notifications are not proof of winning, do not establish entitlement to any prize, and the official drawing records of the relevant lottery always control.

We rely on third-party data and cannot guarantee timing or availability. Drawing results are sourced from official feeds and third-party data providers that we do not control. We cannot guarantee that results will be available, accurate, complete, or delivered to you by any particular time — updates may be delayed, interrupted, or temporarily unavailable because of a provider outage, rate limit, maintenance, or error. WonYet provides results and notifications on an “as available” basis; it is not a real-time or guaranteed-timing service, and you should not treat it as one. We may also retain a history of past drawing results so that older tickets can still be checked. Always confirm the definitive result — and its timing — with the official lottery.

In plain English: what we don’t check.

Scratch-off (instant) tickets carry added risk. Scratch-off evaluations are read automatically from your photo against the rules printed on the ticket, and are especially prone to misreads — from partial scratches, glare, obscured symbols, or promotional and second-chance rules that are not printed on the face. A scratch-off result shown by WonYet is not a determination of a win or a loss. Always confirm a scratch-off ticket against its own printed rules and have it validated by a retailer or the lottery before you discard it.

4. Your account and acceptable use

• Keep your credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
• Scan only tickets you own or are authorized to manage (e.g., your pool’s tickets).
• Don’t abuse the service: no automated scraping, no bulk scanning of tickets you don’t hold, no attempts to circumvent rate limits, no reverse engineering, and nothing illegal.
• Our content and data. The text, guides, page designs, and the compiled winning-numbers, results-history, and game data on WonYet are our property (or used with permission) and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not systematically copy, scrape, harvest, cache, frame, mirror, or redistribute them, or use them to build or train a competing product or dataset, without our written permission. Good-faith indexing by search engines and AI assistants that respect our robots.txt is welcome; automated extraction that ignores it, or that reproduces our content or data on another service, is not.
• We may suspend accounts, and block automated clients, that violate these rules, with notice where practical.

5. What it costs, and the limits that apply

• WonYet is free. There is no paid plan, no subscription, and no one-time purchase. We do not ask you for a payment method, we do not charge you, and there is nothing to cancel. Checking a ticket by typing its numbers in is always free and never uses a scan.
• What is included. Every feature: 30 photo scans per month, automatic checking after each saved ticket’s drawing, win notifications by email and push notification, shared pools, jackpot alerts, and your full ticket history. Allowances may be adjusted with notice — see section 12.
• Fair-use limits. To keep the service fast and to prevent abuse, the same limits apply to every account: 30 photo scans per month and, within that allowance, up to 10 scans per day — the daily limit is the same whether a ticket is a draw game or a scratch-off (instant ticket) — plus platform-wide rate limiting. These limits are set well above genuine individual use. WonYet is for normal personal use checking your own tickets — not automated, bulk, resale, or shared-account use. We may adjust these limits, throttle, or briefly pause scanning during unusually high volume, and may suspend accounts whose use is automated, shared, or materially beyond normal personal use.

6. Pools

Pool features help groups track shared tickets and compute proportional shares. WonYet is not a party to any agreement among pool members, does not hold funds, and does not adjudicate disputes. Share calculations are a convenience based on the share counts members enter; the pool’s own arrangement controls.

7. Intellectual property

WonYet’s software, design, and content are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service. You retain all rights to your ticket photos; you grant us a limited license to process them transiently in memory to read your ticket — we do not store the photos — solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS, NOTIFICATIONS, OR PRIZE CALCULATIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WONYET WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST PRIZES, OR UNCLAIMED WINNINGS — INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM MISSED, DELAYED, OR INACCURATE NOTIFICATIONS — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Responsible play

The lottery should be entertainment, never a financial plan. Our spend tracker exists to keep the numbers honest. If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available wherever you are:

11. Privacy and data

How we handle your data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Analytics runs in a consent-aware mode (on by default in the U.S., opt-in elsewhere; anonymous cookie-free counts only when off) and can be turned off at any time via the “Your Privacy Choices / Cookie settings” control in the footer; California and other U.S. state residents can use that same control to opt out of sharing, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.

12. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue features with reasonable notice; if we ever shut down entirely, you’ll get at least 30 days to export your data.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@wonyet.com and give us 30 days to resolve it informally. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. Venue for other disputes is the state or federal courts of Delaware, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
