Changelog

What’s new in WonYet, in plain language. Updated with every release — and if your state’s game is missing, tell us: support@wonyet.com.

WonYet is free for everyone

  • Every WonYet feature is now free. There are no paid plans, no subscription, and nothing to buy — we do not ask you for a payment method, and the pricing page is gone.
  • The monthly photo-scan allowance goes UP for everyone who was on the free plan: from 10 a month to 30.
  • Two daily guards tightened on the same day, to keep one account from burning the shared AI budget in an afternoon: the daily limit on photo scans went from 40 to 10, and the daily limit on scratch-off checks from 6 to 3. Both sit under the new 30-a-month allowance, so they only bite a single very heavy day.
  • Checking a ticket by typing its numbers in stays free, and it never uses a scan.
  • There is nothing for you to do, and nobody needs to re-subscribe or re-register.

One calm light theme

  • WonYet now opens in its bright light theme for everyone — the dark-mode toggle is gone from the menu and the app. One consistent, carefully contrast-checked look everywhere.
  • New article images across the blog, and article photos now load dramatically faster on mobile.
  • The live drawings board now reveals winning numbers on its own the moment results land — no more refreshing the page while a draw is in progress.

Jackpot alerts now watch every run, not just the first

  • Your free jackpot alert now re-arms after each jackpot cycle: every time your game's jackpot climbs past the amount you set, you get one heads-up email — one per jackpot run, never a stream.
  • It keeps working until you unsubscribe, and every email still carries a one-click unsubscribe. Same confirmed opt-in, still free, still no account — we just made the wording match what it actually does.

Lottery pools that pull their weight

  • Your first pool is free. Start one, name it, and invite your group with a share link — it opens straight from your phone's share sheet.
  • Add tickets directly into the pool, so everyone sees exactly what the group is holding before the drawing.
  • When a pooled ticket wins, WonYet does the splitting: every member's share, computed automatically, down to the cent.
  • A new pools page explains the whole thing before you commit — and as always, joining someone else's pool never requires an account.

Free jackpot alerts — we watch, you live your life

  • Pick a game and a dollar amount, and WonYet emails you each time that jackpot climbs past it — one email per jackpot run, until you unsubscribe. Jackpots are checked daily. Completely free, and no account needed.
  • Confirmed opt-in, always: nothing is armed until you click the link we email you, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.
  • The same confirmed opt-in now protects the newsletter too — you're only ever on a WonYet list because you asked to be, twice.
  • Find it at wonyet.com/lottery-jackpot-alerts, from the homepage, or straight from the drawing calendar.

A brighter WonYet — with dark mode one tap away

  • The site and app now open in a clean, bright light theme. Prefer the deep emerald dark? The toggle in the menu switches instantly and remembers your choice.
  • We re-checked every color combination for readability and fixed 62 contrast issues along the way — the calm look is now also a measurably accessible one.
  • The logo adapts to whichever theme you're in, the app icon got a fresh emerald redesign, and buttons across the site wear a flatter, quieter finish.
  • Our emails match the new light look, and even the 404 page got a proper redesign.

Live draws: the whole lottery day on one board

  • The drawing calendar is now a live board. Every game shows its status in real time — counting down, draw in progress, results in, or running late.
  • Type to filter the board instantly, and tap anywhere on a row to open the game — no hunting for the link.
  • Games with a climbing jackpot show the current amount, with a one-tap path to a free jackpot alert.

A page for every state — and every single drawing

  • New state hubs at wonyet.com/lottery/your-state gather everything your state plays: every game, the latest winning numbers, and the drawing schedule, on one page.
  • Every drawing we've stored now has its own permanent page — the numbers, the jackpot, and the prize breakdown for that one night.
  • New jackpot-after-tax pages answer the real question: cash or annuity, minus federal withholding and your state's cut — what a jackpot actually leaves in your pocket.

Two new free tools

  • A quick-pick number generator: random lines for any game we track, always valid for that game's real rules — the right count of numbers, in the right ranges. No luck claimed; it's randomness, done properly.
  • A lottery scam hub: how ticket scams and fake win notifications actually work, the red flags to watch for, and how to verify a real win safely.

An accuracy sweep, top to bottom

  • A full audit of the whole product fixed 32 confirmed bugs, including three serious ones involving money handling and account security.
  • Add-on draws like Double Play and Lotto Plus are now scored on scanned tickets — if your ticket rode the extra drawing, we check that too.
  • A legal and honesty pass corrected 16 items across advertising accuracy, privacy wording, and email compliance — the quiet work that keeps our copy exactly as true as the product.
  • Interior pages were brought fully onto the new design system, so the polish runs all the way through.

Clearer terms and a note on jackpot alerts

  • Jackpot alerts explained: when you set a jackpot threshold alert, we store that game and amount so we can email you when the prize crosses it. We added this data category to the Privacy Policy so what we keep is fully spelled out.
  • Terms update (§4): we clarified that WonYet's results and pages are for personal use — automated scraping, bulk harvesting, or reselling our data isn't allowed. Nothing changes for normal use.
  • Billing terms update (§5, effective 2026-07-03): the Pro plan description now states the exact fair-use scan limits — up to 40 ticket scans a day and 20 scratch-off checks a day — instead of the word "unlimited", so the terms match what the plan actually does.

Instant page loads

  • Public pages now load from servers near you and refresh quietly in the background — and your browser starts fetching the next page the moment you hover over or touch a link. Most navigation now paints instantly.
  • The winning-numbers index gained an instant "find your game" search.
  • New: a weekly results recap — This Week in Lottery Results — that rebuilds itself as the week's draws land.
  • Number frequency and trends on game pages: honest history over recent draws, clearly labeled as description, never prediction.
  • Our claim-deadline and unclaimed-prizes references can now be downloaded as CSV or JSON, cited in APA or MLA style, or embedded on your own site.

Scan limits, stated plainly

  • We stopped saying "unlimited". Pro includes up to 40 ticket scans and 20 scratch-off checks a day; Lifetime includes 50 scans a month. The real numbers now appear everywhere — pricing, terms, the app — in all eight languages.
  • Saved tickets, pools, alerts, and manual number entry remain genuinely uncapped.
  • Fixed a dead end where a free month of Pro earned from a pool referral didn't show correctly on the account page.
  • Two new games from Ontario — Pick 2 and La Mini — are now checked automatically.

Results that catch themselves up

  • If a lottery publishes results late, WonYet now notices, learns that game's publishing rhythm, and backfills anything missed — even across multiple days — without waiting for a human.
  • New guardrails mean a corrupted results feed can never turn into a wrong verdict on your ticket: when the data looks off, we hold the ticket for review instead of guessing.
  • Ireland's Daily Million is now tracked as its two real daily draws — 2pm and 9pm — so each ticket checks against the right one.

A calendar worth checking

  • A countdown to the very next drawing sits at the top of the calendar, and every row counts down live.
  • Flip between Upcoming and Just drawn to see what's next — or what just happened.
  • Every time reads in your own timezone, no math required — plus a jackpot column, with fixed-prize games honestly showing none.

A win should feel like one

  • When the app verifies a win, it now marks the moment — a brief confetti burst, a soft chime, a gentle emerald glow — then gets out of the way.
  • The celebration fires only for verified wins. Everything else stays calm on purpose.
  • The app's backdrop now matches the site, and capturing a ticket answers with a small tactile pulse.

The faceted W

  • A new mark: four emerald facets folded into a "W" ribbon. It now signs everything — the site, the app, icons, and email.
  • The navigation floats: a liquid-glass capsule on desktop, a docked bar on phones, with an emerald marker on the page you're on.
  • Cards and hero buttons picked up real see-through glass, with depth behind it so the material actually reads.
  • And the homepage draw machine got true physics — balls load in, tumble on air, and settle like the real thing.

The Lifetime plan (retired)

  • A new one-time option: pay $129 once, get 50 scans a month, forever. No subscription, nothing to cancel, and it never quietly renews. <strong>Retired on July 26, 2026 — WonYet is now free for everyone, and nobody was charged for it after that date.</strong>
  • The pricing page and your account page now show all three plans — Free, Pro, Lifetime — side by side, in every language. <strong>All three were retired on July 26, 2026.</strong>
  • Wallet ticket cards were redesigned with a cleaner ticket-stub look.
  • Indiana players: Hoosier Lotto +PLUS's second draw and 2by2 are now checked automatically — and we fixed Hoosier Lotto's built-in multiplier, which had been under-reporting some calculated prizes.

WonYet 2.0 — the 2026 redesign

  • A brand-new look across the whole site and app: a deeper, premium dark-emerald design, a new lottery-ball logo, and crisper typography — the same product, sharper in every corner
  • A living homepage: the hero is a real, interactive 3D drawing machine — give the lottery balls and tickets a nudge and they tumble in real time. It paints instantly and only loads the 3D scene once the page is ready, falls back to a lightweight animation on older devices, and goes still for anyone who prefers reduced motion
  • Redesigned feature moments: pass your cursor over a draw ticket to see exactly what we see when we check it, and watch a sample prize total tally up to the dollar
  • The app wallet, scan, and win screens got the same treatment — a floating navigation bar, an emerald Scan button front and centre, and refreshed ticket cards
  • Simpler privacy choices: we removed the optional "Marketing" cookie category and its Google Ads conversion tag entirely. WonYet runs no ads, so the cookie banner is now just essential cookies plus optional analytics — nothing ad-related at all
  • Everything underneath is exactly where it was: every feature, every game, every word — just a faster, more premium experience

WonYet 1.5 — honest ad measurement, your choice

  • We added one optional Google Ads conversion tag so we can tell which ads are worth paying for — it loads only if you opt in to the new "Marketing" cookie category, only on the upgrade pages, and measures whether an ad led to a Pro sign-up. It never targets ads to you, never builds a profile, and never sends Google your email.
  • Because this is new, everyone is asked to review their cookie choices again — nothing ad-related runs until you opt in, and Global Privacy Control (and "Reject all") switch it off automatically.
  • Updated the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms to describe exactly what this is and isn't, and added a Marketing section with the full cookie list. Your consent choices are now also recorded so we can honor them.

WonYet 1.4 — faster, worldwide-aware, and privacy-first

  • Winning numbers now arrive automatically for 40 lotteries across the US, UK, Europe, and Australia — every game we list shows fresh results within minutes of the draw
  • Drawing times now read in each game's home time zone with a clear label (e.g. "Eastern Time", "Greenwich Mean Time"), plus your own local time when it differs — on the calendar and every winning-numbers page
  • International prizes show in each game's own currency and in clean compact amounts (£1M, €20M) instead of long figures
  • New by-state pages for games that share a name — look up "Megabucks" or "Fantasy 5" and land on a chooser that floats your own state to the top
  • A faster site: pages load from a worldwide edge cache, while your wallet, results, and other live data always stay current
  • Desktop polish: a balanced top bar, a tidier side menu with Sign out always at the bottom, and right-sized saved-ticket art
  • Privacy-first analytics: optional and off until you opt in — and your scanned tickets, numbers, and email are never captured in any session recording

WonYet 1.3 — scratch-offs, answered on the spot

  • Scratch-off scanning: snap a photo of a scratched instant ticket and WonYet reads the rules printed on it, compares your revealed numbers, and tells you the result right there — winner, no win, or flagged for a closer look
  • Scratch-off results are saved to your wallet alongside your draw-game tickets, so your lifetime numbers stay honest
  • A redesigned interface: one deep dark theme — graphite, cream, and emerald — built for checking tickets at 11pm, with the same measured contrast as before

WonYet 1.2 — the world joins the wallet

  • 50 new lotteries: EuroMillions, Eurojackpot, UK Lotto, SuperEnalotto, Australian Powerball, Lotto Max, Mega-Sena, Lotto 6aus49, Japan Loto 7 and more — plus 30 additional US state games
  • Full prize tables for every game, paid in each lottery's own currency
  • Two-ball games (EuroMillions Lucky Stars) and bonus-ball games (UK Lotto, SuperEnalotto) match correctly, tier by tier
  • New searchable game browser on the homepage, grouped by state and country
  • wonyet.com now greets Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Italian speakers in their own language
  • Old tickets scanned years later are evaluated honestly: expired, but you'll see what they would have paid

WonYet 1.1 — sign in with a tap, a living design, and your voice

  • Sign in with Google or a one-tap email link — passwords are now optional
  • New look: editorial typography, full dark mode, living homepage with real-time jackpot ticker and drawing countdowns
  • Your tickets now render as beautiful high-fidelity ticket art with matched numbers lit up
  • New Ideas & Feedback board — request features, report bugs, ask for your state's lottery, and vote
  • Texas Lotto and California SuperLotto Plus results now arrive automatically
  • Payout chart pages for every game — see exactly what 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers win
  • Branded email: welcome notes, win alerts, and sign-in links that match the app
  • Signing out now removes all of your data from the device
