WonYet for Android

We’re packaging WonYet for Google Play. It isn’t there yet, and we’re not going to guess at a date — but there are two ways to be part of it, and they’re different jobs.

Just tell me when it’s out

No commitment, no Google account needed. We email you once, when WonYet is publicly available on Google Play, and that’s the end of it.

Used only to send that one launch email. Not a newsletter, and not added to any marketing list. Privacy policy.

Or: help us test it first

Before Google Play will let WonYet go public, it has to be tested by real people on real phones. That’s a genuine favour to ask, so here is exactly what it involves:

  • It’s a pre-release build. Expect rough edges. That’s the point — you’re looking for them.
  • You need to keep it installed. Google requires a group of testers to stay opted in continuously for a couple of weeks before the app can be published. Opting out part-way sets everyone back.
  • It must be your Google account email. Google Play matches testers by the Google account signed in on the phone — an address that isn’t a Google account can’t be added to the test at all.
  • The work is: use it normally. Check your tickets like you would anyway. If something feels wrong, the in-app feedback board is one tap away.

We use this email only to send you the Play opt-in link — never for marketing — and we delete the tester list when the beta ends. Privacy policy.

How the tester invite actually arrives

Google Play doesn’t send tester invitations by itself — we have to hand you the opt-in link. So:

  1. You sign up above with your Google account email.
  2. We add you to the closed-testing list in Google Play Console.
  3. We email you the opt-in link. Open it on your Android phone and tap opt in.
  4. Play lets you install WonYet from the Play Store, like any other app.
  5. Keep it installed and use it while the test runs. That’s the whole job.

You can leave the test at any time from the same opt-in page, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time — privacy@wonyet.com.

Don’t want to wait for either?

WonYet already runs on Android as a web app: open wonyet.com/app in Chrome and choose Add to home screen. Same scanner, same alerts, no store needed. The Play Store version will be the same app with a proper store install — and your account carries over.
