How Florida Pick 5 (Midday) prizes work
Straight pays when your 5 digits match the draw in exact order. Box pays when they match in any order — a box with all different digits has more ways to win, so it pays less than one with a repeated digit. Straight/Box splits your wager across both.
Fireball is an optional add-on that doubles your ticket cost. After the draw, one Fireball number is drawn and substituted for each winning digit in turn, giving extra winning combinations.
