No one won the Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The prize, worth $800 million for that drawing, rolls to Friday, July 31, where it will climb further into all-time top-10 territory.
The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59, 70, and the Mega Ball was 12.
Did anyone win the $800 million jackpot?
No ticket matched all six numbers, according to Mega Millions. The jackpot has now been rolling since March 17, 2026, when a ticket sold in Van Wert, Ohio, claimed a $60 million prize. No winner has emerged across more than two dozen consecutive drawings since.
What were the cash and annuity options?
Tuesday's advertised jackpot was $800 million paid as a 30-year annuity. The lump-sum cash value was $344.2 million before taxes, according to Mega Millions. Winners who choose the cash option typically receive roughly 50 to 60 percent of the advertised prize before federal and state withholding.
